2011 Rap

I didn't really like any of the raps but I kind of liked the rap by Sergio G. It was good and it had current events like Libya, Hurricane Irene, the NBA Lockout, MW3, even about Michael Jackson's doctor going to jail. I really like when he mentioned the Lego man landing on the beach "How the Lego man landed on the beach remains a mystery". He wrote more than 16 lines so I think he will get disqualified, but I give him a 8/12.

5. Libyan Revolution. This is big because Libya finally got its independence from Quadaffi.



6. Occupy Wall Street. This is big because people are standing up for what they believe in and have been protesting for a few months now.



7. Steve Job's Death This is big because he owned Apple. He was the creator of Apple and changed millions of lives.



8. Rebecca Black (Friday Video) This is big because this was a viral video. Rebecca Black has no talent what so ever and yet she got so much attention plus she thinks she is a "singer" now because she came out with 2 other new songs and videos.



9. Death of Amy Winehouse This is big because Amy was a legend and many people were very hurt and crushed by her death.



10. Royal Wedding This is big because this was a Royal Wedding. News Stations had countdowns to the royal wedding and even had segments about it everyday.

Cody's diner is not open for Metro!!!!!

Students are in an outrage claiming that it is unfair especially for the upper class men. MBA students were not allowed to go to Cody's Diner during lunch as of last Thursday. Ms. Puglissi announced on the intercom that no students should go out to Cody's during lunch because Metro is a "closed campus" meaning that no one is to go out at any time and come back into school. Puglissi threatened students with suspension if she found anyone going out and returning to school.

What Lede: She THREATENED students with suspension if they left during lunch to go Cody's Diner. She says that if she caught any student leaving school, they will be suspended for five days. This is an outrage, why can't we leave school to get a good lunch instead of eating the crap they give us in school?

I hate phony people. Everyone hates phony people, except for other phony people. Phony people are meant to stay alone. They cannot be trusted. For example, you have a friends who you tell stuff to, the next thing you know they are telling everyone everything you said. People can't be trusted. Sometimes I think that there is no such thing as friends because no one can be trusted. In Catcher in the Rye, Holden talks about phony people. He says "Grand. There's a word I really hate. It's phony. I could puke every time I hear it." I agree with what he says. One of my friends in this class also hates phony people. She says "they start too much drama and they tear too many friendships apart". I also agree with her. But if you want to disagree with me go ahead I don't really care. Phony people may start with a lot of "friends" but they end up all by themselves!!!!!

The article was written by Thomas MacMillian.The article was about a man who saved a pregnant woman's life when she went in the river after someone tried to assault her. Ian Christmann went into the river with a kayak when the police told him there was a woman in the river. Ian didn't want another drowning incident to happen again.The police said it was a miracle that Christmann went in to save her because he got to her really fast. After a while the police heard someone yelling "help help". It was the assaulter. They rescued him and put him in handcuffs. Self assessment of my blog

My blog isn't that good. I only have two blog posts and I don't have any pictures. My blog is easy to read and the visual format is good. It is also free of grammatical and spelling errors. I need to start adding hyper links to my blog.

Of Course student council is Important!!!!!!

Class elections and a strong student council is very important. The student council must be able to lead the class in the right direction. Currently the student council isn't very good, but I know that this year it will get better and we will start earning money for our class. That is another thing that the student council does, it raises money for our class. The student council has also turned into a popularity contest and that shouldn't be the point of the student council. It should be about people who want to run and actually care about doing things for our class.
